Antenna design and manufacturing is a niche speciality of North Australian Technologies (NAT).

Our antenna technology has been used in many varied and inhospitable environments showcasing it's operational capability in the most rugged of circumstances.

High Frequency (HF) Antennas:
Exclusively, our company designs and manufactures specialized HF radio antennas. These include HF ‘Square Loop Antennas’ that give the user the ability to change the vertical incidence of the antenna relative to the ‘Sky wave’. This type of antenna has the unique ability to transmit the HF signal in the vertical mode effecting localized scattering of the high frequency transmitted signal. Additionally, the user, having the ability to point the antenna in any direction, is able to take advantage of the full range of ‘Skip Conditions’. Current Antenna designs cover the frequency bands from 2,0 to 33.0 MHz.

Composite Antennas:
North Australian Technologies manufactures specifically designed antennas utilizing both composite and nano-conducting materials. The molding and manufacturing of these composite antennas utilizing specific conducting and non-conducting materials is an in-house capability of NAT.

Satellite Antenna Radomes and Covers:
Our company has a high level of expertise in the manufacture of small to medium Radomes of up to two meters in diameter. These Radomes have been tried and tested in the harshest of environments from the Antarctic to the Tropical regions of the world. We have successfully manufactured the Radomes and associated covers using materials that will last in excess of 10 years in an open exposed environment.
